Behind Pixelio.
Pixelio is a creative direction and visual production studio in Guadalajara, Mexico, led by Emmanuel Castañeda. We shoot on set in Guadalajara and Mexico City, and work remotely with brands across Mexico and abroad.
When anything can be generated, judgment is what's scarce. We use the same AI tools that make everything look generic, with a person behind them who decides what's worth desiring.
Emmanuel Castañeda
Creative and art director with more than 10 years in fashion, editorial and campaign imagery. He art-directs on set, shoots, and does advanced post-production and AI image synthesis.
He studied Communication and Digital Media at Tec de Monterrey and Project Management at St. Lawrence College in Canada. He also applies AI to business processes at companies outside fashion, and that experience is part of what Pixelio offers.
His work has been published in Marie Claire México, Cosmopolitan, Pony Magazine and Rolling Stone en Español. He has worked with Libera Casa, Chakra Studio, Boycot and Jungle Mixology.
